Here at Fountain Frozen we are in search of a new member of staff to assist our logistics department with pallet reconciliation and tracking of CHEP pallets.
The ideal candidate will be required to co-ordinate the progression of all customer sales orders through to delivery, needs to be adaptable, have good communication skills, good IT skills and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Previous experience of working within the same or similar role would be an advantage as would experience of Orderwise and Chep but full training can be given.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
International shipping with documentation.
Arranging transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure goods are delivered as per schedule.
Handling and maintaining stock inventory.
Investigate and resolve delivery failures advised by transport agents.
Inputting finished goods, stock movements and sales orders onto stock control system.
Progression of all customer sales orders through to delivery including EDI.
Liaise with customers, haulage and storage companies to resolve supply issues and other queries.
Assist in investigation of stock variances.
Completion of all paperwork requires, including commercial invoices and export documentation.
Managing Chep pallet system.
Checking and inputting Production onto stock control system.
This is a full time position, working 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday. Based in Wisbech, PE14 0SH, with a salary from £24,434.00 per year.
